LA Travel: Day 1 Beverly Hills 美國旅遊洛杉磯 6日行程遊記

Los Angeles has been on my bucket list for a long time, and I finally got a chance to visit during the Independence Day holiday in the US. I planned a six-day trip, with the first four days focused on traveling. The other two days, I worked remotely during the daytime and explored the city after hours.

洛杉磯在我口袋名單躺很久，總算在美國獨立紀念日連假有機會解鎖，六天的旅遊規劃，前四天的行程專注在旅行，踩點踩得比較緊湊，後兩天白天遠端工作，下班後才安排旅遊活動。

Day 1. JFK – LAX

早上十點飛機，八點多搭Uber，九點左右到機場辦理安檢手續，飛行時間為5-6小時，因為當天是禮拜五白天，我就在飛機上連線工作。

The flight was scheduled for 10 am, so I took an Uber at around 8 am and arrived at the airport at around 9 am to go through security procedures. The flight was around 5-6 hours long, and since it was a weekday, I decided to finish some works on the flight.

機票購買我是以 Amex 美國運通卡，消費累積的點數換 UA機票，大蓋以五萬多點數換五百左右的 JFK-LAX來回機票。

I purchased the plane ticket using my Amex American Express card and redeemed my accumulated points for a United Airlines ticket. I was able to exchange approximately 50,000 points for a round-trip ticket between JFK and LAX, which cost about $500.

Kimpton La Peer Hotel

Expedia上訂這間五星飯店，可享有85折優惠，原本計畫住宿兩晚，因行程些微更動，Check-in臨時改成一晚。

I booked a five-star hotel on Expedia and received a 15% discount. I planned to stay for two nights, but I changed the booking to only one night stay.

從 LAX機場搭 Uber到飯店約半小時，30美左右，機場叫車必須先步行10分鐘左右至計程車 / Uber / Lyft接送區，訂位在機場接駁車區，手機是無法使用叫車服務。

It took about half an hour to get from LAX airport to the hotel via Uber, which cost around $30. To call for a car from the airport, I had to walk for about 10 minutes to get to the taxi/Uber/Lyft pickup area. I booked the ride in the designated shuttle area, as using ride-hailing services directly from my phone wasn’t allowed at the airport.

我在22A區等Uber，大概六天的行程，夏天的行李一個20寸的Carry-on 剛剛好，帶上UA的國內班機也沒問題，除非太晚登機置物櫃空間已經被佔滿才會要求托運。我用的是 Rimowa Original Cabin，顏色選金色是為了搭配我平時多數的穿搭色系。

I waited for my Uber in the 22A area. Since I was traveling for about six days in the summer, I brought a 20-inch carry-on suitcase that was just the right size for me. It was also suitable for domestic flights on United Airlines unless the overhead bin space was already occupied by the time I boarded, which would require me to check it in. I used the Rimowa Original Cabin suitcase in a gold color, which was chosen to match the color scheme of my outfits.

Check-in後，參加旅館室內設計、和旁邊的藝術家 James Peter Henry的工作室，步行一分鐘吃旅館附近餐廳 Gracias Madre West Hollywood 就出發前往景點。

After checking in, participate in the hotel’s interior design and adjacent artist James Peter Henry’s studio. Take a one-minute walk to the restaurant Gracias Madre West Hollywood near the hotel and then head to the tourist attractions.

🦌 Rose golden dress + heels

我會依場合先計畫好當天的 Dress code，這次旅行總共只帶兩雙鞋，布鞋以及高跟鞋，白天走路行程穿平底，方便自在地跑跳蹦，晚上去吃晚餐或酒吧，多靜態活動就換上高跟鞋。

I will plan the dress code for the day according to the occasion. I only brought two pairs of shoes for this trip: sneakers and high heels. During the day when walking around, I will wear flat shoes for comfort and ease of movement. At night, if I go out to dinner or to a bar, and if it’s a more static activity, I will switch to high heels.

Petersen Automotive Museum

搭車時經過拍照，沒有參觀館內，由 Kohn Pedersen Fox設計，流線形的金屬材質搭配紅色的建築外觀十分醒目。

While traveling by car, I passed by and took a photo of a building without visiting its interior. The building was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox, and its streamlined metallic material, combined with the red exterior. The exquisite design totally caught my full attention.

LA County Museum of Art

美術館旁知名拍照景點 Urban Light，創作者為 Chris Burden

The famous photo spot “Urban Light” is located next to the art museum and was created by Chris Burden.

館後草皮區還有艾未未 Ai Weiwei 的十二生肖雕塑

Behind the museum, there is a grassy area where you can find Ai Weiwei’s twelve zodiac animal sculptures.

There was a jazz performance outside the museum on that day.

門票大概20美左右，先上網預定時間參觀，當日門票任何時段都能入場，美術館共有兩棟建築物，門口於長廊中間，本館建築師為 William Pereira。

The ticket costs around 20 US dollars, and it is recommended to book the visit time online in advance. The ticket is valid for any entry time on the same day. The museum has two buildings, and the entrance is located in the middle of the long corridor. The architect, William Pereira designed the main building.

Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura

餐廳位於 Beverly Hills的 Gucci店，依門口帶位人員指示搭乘電梯上樓，我在 Gucci Osteria網站上訂位，服儀 Smart causal不需要穿著品牌也能入場唷！

The restaurant is located at the Gucci store in Beverly Hills. Follow the host’s instructions at the entrance and take the elevator to go upstairs. You can make a reservation on the Gucci Osteria website, and the dress code is smart casual. You don’t need to wear Gucci to enter the restaurant.

餐廳榮獲2021米其林一星，我晚餐點的是 Beverly Hills Classics 詳細菜單網路上可查詢，每個餐點會搭配一瓶酒，當天總共嘗試了五支酒。

The restaurant has been awarded one Michelin star in 2021. I ordered the Beverly Hills Classics for dinner, and the detailed menu can be found online. Each dish was paired with a bottle of wine, and I had five wines paring that evening.
