Rufus Du Sol is an Australian electronic trio consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Tyrone Lindqvist, keyboardist Jon George, and drummer James Hunt. Their name, Du Sol, means “The Sun” in French. They began performing at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in 2016, and have performed there three times, solidifying their position in the American music market and increasing their popularity.

I vaguely remember that day, at dusk, when the orange sun set on the horizon, and the colors of the vanilla sky gradually faded away. The dark night sky emerged, and the moonlit stage rose, while the music reverberated in the sky. The sci-fi, divine-like sound effects were layered upon one another, as if transforming into time travelers who experienced a ritualistic adventure, shuttling between seemingly advanced technology and primitive wildness. As the audience’s cells trembled with the intense rhythm, the breeze gently brushed against their sweat, and the distant trees swayed. Looking up, the unreachable starry sky was sparkling.
