Memories of Santa Monica are tranquil and beautiful. Strolling along this charming coastal area, the sea breeze gently caresses my hair. In my mind, I can clearly picture the blue coast and soft sandy beaches, swaying palm trees, and exploring the five-star Proper Hotel designed by Kelly Wearstler. The warm beige-white walls match the tropical-style decor, flipping through the art and design books, enjoying a delicious brunch, and the latte.

大廳兩面與燈飾結合的大扇子，跳光映照著牆面散發出暖黃的光芒
The large fans in the lobby are integrated with the lighting fixtures on both sides, and the reflected light shines on the walls, emitting a warm yellow glow.

角落每張椅子都是獨特的設計，圍繞著圓桌擺卻沒有違和感，反而增添玩味！Each chair in the corner is uniquely designed and arranged around a round table in harmony with a playful touch

Palma Lounge 餐廳

我在這裡吃早午餐，非常推薦這個空間，充滿創意的傢俱，完全沒有重複設計的區域，又有藏書可翻閱，喜歡設計、藝術、建築類的朋友，可以點杯飲料享受寧靜悠閒的下午

I had breakfast here and highly recommend this space, filled with creative furniture and no duplicated design areas. There are also books to read. For friends who are interested in design, art, and architecture, you can order a drink and enjoy a peaceful and leisurely afternoon.

從另一個方向拍過去，中間三個內推的圓拱洞穴，增添點隱私感

電梯前的玄關，喜歡 Wearstler特殊造型的擺飾，大玩材質與色彩的混搭
In front of the elevator is a foyer, where Wearstler’s unique decorative sculptures are displayed. She skillfully mixes materials and colors to create a playful and vivid atmosphere.

每張椅子都有強烈的個性，像是這張以橄欖葉裝飾椅背，雕刻南島圖騰的造型椅，誇張的比例卻充分展示著飯店的海島主題而不失美感

Each chair represents a strong personality, such as this one with an olive leaf decorated backrest and a sculpted South Pacific totem, with an exaggerated proportion that fully showcases the hotel’s island theme. Still preserving the balance of beauty.
